ADULT LAP SWIM

Regular physical activity has been associated with better health and longer life. According to the Department of Health & Human Services, 61% of adults in the U.S. are overweight! Swimming laps for exercise will help you fight obesity. Most swimming pools offer special lap swim times during mornings, evenings and weekends. Lap swim is for 16 years and up. 2010 fees are $5 per visit or $50 for 20-punch card. Lap swim fees may be changed without notice. Pool closed Sat. July 10.

WATER AEROBICS

Men and women 16 years and up are encouraged to shape up with Water Aerobics! Regular physical activity has been associated with better health and longer life. Water exercise is very therapeutic, low impact and can improve your cardiovascular system as well as help fight obesity. Purchase a $28 punch card (good for 8 classes) at the pool. One visit is $6. Some dates may be unavailable due to training, school, or department activities. Ask about FREE water aerobics through the 50+ Wellness Program. Pool closed Sat. July 10.
