The following are street and/or sidewalk closures for the time frame beginning Friday July 09, 2010.
DOWNTOWN AREA
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STREET CLOSURES
- 7th Street –btwn- G Street and F Street (Southbound travel lanes closed for various construction activities).
- 13th Street –btwn- P Street and W Street (periodic street closures for Street resurfacing project).
- J Street –btwn Alhambra and 30th Street (periodic traffic lane closures for street surface sealing project)
- 16th Street @ J Street (periodic traffic lane closures for a utility project during the night off peak hours and on weekends).
- K Street –btwn- 10th Street and 11th Street (sidewalk closed on the south of the street for a large SMUD Project).
- 8th Street @ G Street (periodic night street closures at the intersection for various construction activities from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- P Street –btwn- 4th Street and 6th Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for various construction activities).
- 6th Street –btwn- Capitol Mall and L Street (periodic traffic lane closures for an underground utility project).
NORTH AREA
North of the River
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STREET CLOSURES
- Main Ave –btwn- Northgate and Blackrock Road (periodic traffic lane closures for City of Sacramento water main project).
- Raley Blvd –btwn- Bell Street and Grace Ave (periodic traffic lane closures for City of Sacramento landscape project).
- 7th Street –btwn- North B Street and Richards (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for rail road Project).
- Truxel –btwn- San Juan and El Camino (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closure for street overlay pre work).
EAST AREA
East of 30th Street
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STEET CLOSURES
- 34th Street –btwn- T Street and Stockton Blvd (periodic street closures for Street resurfacing project).
- 59 Street –btwn- S Street and Folsom Blvd (periodic street closures for Utility Project during the night off peak hours and on weekends).
- 39th Street – btwn- H Street and J Street (periodic traffic lane closures for various construction activities).
- Florin Perkins –btwn- Jackson Rd and Belvadere (periodic traffic lane closures for drainage line project).
SOUTH AREA
South of Broadway
SHORT-TERM SIDEWALK & STREET CLOSURES
- Riverside Blvd –btwn- Florin Road and Havenside (periodic traffic lane closures for street resurfacing project).
- Bruceville Road –btwn- Alta Valley Drive and Wyndham Drive (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures various construction activities).
- Florin Road @ Greenhaven Drive (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for ADA Curb ramp installation project).
- Mack Road –btwn- Stockton Blvd and Franklin Blvd (periodic traffic lane closures for large County of Sacramento sewer main project).
- Redding Ave –btwn- 4th Ave and Q Street (periodic street and sidewalk closure for SMUD project).
- 65th Street @ 4th Ave (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures along 4th Ave and 65th Street for various construction activities).
- 12th Ave –btwn- Franklin and 32 Street (complete sidewalk closure, @ the Hwy 99 overpass, on the south side of the street). This project will eventually have some closures that will impact Hwy 99.
- Broadway –btwn- 39th Street and 41st Street (periodic traffic lane and sidewalk closures for street realignment project on MLK Blvd and Broadway).
